Job Description

The Cluster Sales Manager – Groups will be responsible for driving group sales performance across The First Group Hospitality portfolio, which includes 8 hotels under renowned franchised brands such as Wyndham, IHG, and Marriott.
This role oversees both proactive and reactive sales for MICE and Leisure groups, ensuring maximum revenue generation, strong client relationships, and consistent brand representation across all hotel levels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve group revenue targets across the cluster.
  • Handle both proactive sales (new business development) and reactive sales (incoming leads and RFPs).
  • Manage all aspects of MICE and Leisure group segments, ensuring timely communication, proposals, and conversions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel agents, DMCs, corporate clients, and event organizers.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize business opportunities and group performance.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.
  • Represent the hotels at trade shows, exhibitions, and client events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain consistency in brand standards and service delivery across all properties.
  • Train and support property-based sales teams to ensure alignment with cluster strategies.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in hotel sales, preferably in a cluster or multi-property environment.
  • Strong background in MICE and Leisure group segments with exposure to different hotel categories (3-star to 5-star).
  • Excellent knowledge of the UAE and GCC market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and close high-value deals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Opera and CRM tools.
  • Results-driven with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
