Job Description:

The Laundry Assistant Manager is overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel laundry, ensuring the highest quality of linen and uniform care, guest laundry services, and operational efficiency. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all processes align with hotel standards and hygiene protocols.

• Assist in managing and supervising the laundry operations for guest laundry, staff uniforms, and hotel linen.

• Ensure timely and quality laundry services for all hotel departments and guests.

• Monitor laundry staff performance and provide training and guidance as needed.

• Schedule and allocate tasks to laundry attendants and operators.

• Maintain inventory of linen, uniforms, and laundry supplies.

• Inspect cleaned items for quality control and ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics.

• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet laundry demands.

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laundry machines and equipment.

• Enforce hygiene and safety standards within the laundry area.

• Assist in cost control, budgeting, and vendor coordination when required.

• Proven experience in a hotel, with prior supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, fabrics, and stain removal techniques.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
