Job Description

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to IT systems, hardware, and network devices.
  • Monitor and manage network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Administer and maintain company databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Provide comprehensive IT support to employees and guests, addressing service-related IT needs.
  • Operate, monitor, and coordinate the use of computer hardware, software, and peripherals; train users as required.
  • Manage end-user accounts, including setup, deactivation, and password resets, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Adhere to all information security protocols and company policies to protect organizational assets.
  • Manage and maintain audiovisual (A/V) equipment across the property, including F&B outlets.
  • Support F&B operations by configuring POS systems, including menu items, reports, classes, and SLU/NLU settings.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems and related devices, such as check and KOT printers.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of all technology equipment and devices.
  • Assist with the deployment and rollout of new applications and systems.
  • Prepare and present project status reports.
  • Manage multiple open cases, prioritizing issues for resolution based on business needs.
  • Respond to IT incidents as required, including on-call support for urgent issues.
  • Provide oversight and management of a 24/7/365 IT environment, which may involve off-shift work as necessary.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role in a hotel setting.
  • Relevant IT certifications and technical training.
  • Proficient in operating systems, software, and network installation and configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Solid experience with Opera, Micros, FMC, and SUN Systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage conflicts professionally.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
