Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and support the Finance Manager in achieving departmental goals. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Monitor and control daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  2. Budget Management:

    • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets.
    • Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Internal Controls & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
    • Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
  4. Team Supervision & Training:

    • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
    • Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of financial projects.
    • Provide training to enhance the team’s financial knowledge and skills.
  5. Cash Flow & Revenue Management:

    • Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations.
    • Ensure timely collection of receivables and proper management of payables.
    • Collaborate with operations to optimize revenue and control costs.
  6. Collaboration with Other Departments:

    • Work closely with the operational teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
    • Provide financial insights to support decision-making across departments.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
