Job Description

As the F&B Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the establishment, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and manage the F&B team, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and develop strategies to optimize the dining experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage trends, and the ability to maintain efficient and profitable operations.

 

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the F&B staff to ensure they are delivering excellent service.
  • Schedule and manage staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak times, while controlling labor costs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address any performance issues.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment, encouraging collaboration and open communication.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards, including food quality, cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring proper stock control and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and service of food and drinks.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and take proactive measures to resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Ensure that all customer requests are handled promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
  • Regularly review customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the F&B department, including forecasting, cost control, and profitability goals.
  • Analyze financial performance, including sales, costs, and profit margins, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Monitor food and beverage costs, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with chefs and the kitchen team to create and update menus that reflect current trends and meet customer preferences.
  • Regularly review and assess menu offerings for profitability and marketability.
  • Implement promotions, special events, and seasonal menu changes to drive sales and attract guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met throughout the dining and kitchen areas.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained in food safety, proper handling procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase visibility and sales.
  • Enhance the restaurant’s brand image by maintaining consistent quality, service, and ambiance.
  • Develop and implement loyalty programs and initiatives to retain customers and attract new ones.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Proven experience as an F&B Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field .
  • 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar leadership role within a hotel setting.
