Job Description

The F&B Manager oversees all food and beverage operations within the establishment, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. This role includes responsibility for budget management, team leadership, and the development of innovative dining experiences that align with brand standards and enhance guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, catering, and room service.
    • Ensure smooth coordination with kitchen and service staff to deliver consistent and timely service.
    • Implement and maintain high standards for service and food quality.
  • Financial Performance:

    • Manage the department’s P&L, monitor expenditures, and optimize revenue through effective cost control measures.
    • Collaborate on budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis to meet business targets.
    • Analyze sales and customer feedback to drive sales and improve menu offerings.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor the F&B team to create a skilled and motivated workforce.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop action plans for improvement.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Customer Experience:

    • Ensure that all guest interactions reflect high levels of hospitality and professionalism.
    • Address customer concerns promptly and efficiently to maintain a positive brand image.
    • Innovate and implement guest service programs to enhance overall experience.
  • Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
    • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all food and beverage areas.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Inventory & Supplier Management:

    • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and competitive pricing.
    • Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
    • Coordinate with the culinary team to develop and adjust menu items based on seasonal availability and guest preferences.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an F&B Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations, cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing guest needs.
