Job Description

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our residential buildings. You will assist in managing residential properties, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction and efficient property management. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks, tenant relations, leasing activities, and maintenance coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Tenant Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns.
  • Address and resolve tenant complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition

Property Management:

  • Monitor and manage property budgets, including rent collection and operating expenses.
  • Assist in property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work with vendors and contractors for maintenance and proposals. 

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, financial transactions, and maintenance requests.
  • Prepare regular reports on property performance, finance and operation.
  • Assist the Property Manager with other administrative duties as needed.

 

Desired Skill & Expertise

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in property management or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local real estate regulations and practice 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Personal Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
