    Job Description

    • Overseeing all functions taken up in the Accounts Payable division in relation to the main business.
    • Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable with the assistance and deliverables set within the Team
    • Monitoring work done by Accounts Payable team members.
    • Producing accurate reports and presenting results within the company to varying levels of Authority.
    • Assure the accuracy and the effective management of the petty cash function.
    • Reconciliation of vendor accounts to identify inconsistencies
    • Adding improvements to the document management system.
    • Confirm Delegated Authorities are followed before any payments are made
    • Ensuring continuous improvement in internal controls and escalate where deficiencies are identified.
    • Utilizing the full potential of the new AX Dynamics ERP system to assist with system related controls, processes and reporting.
    • Able to carry out Ad hoc projects.
    • Supervising department and ensuring constant growth and development of the members.
    • Aiding accountants to conduct appropriate communication with concerned parties and ensure all records are valid and reliable and ensure no discrepancies exist within financial reports
    • Provide assistance with planning and implementation of strategic directives to reflect the growth and changing functions within the AP Team.
    • Provides support with cost review analysis and uses this to provide initial Budget figures.
    • Budget to Actuals cost monitoring on a monthly basis.
    • Ensuring deadlines are always met as well as the completion of all duties and responsibility in a professional manner

    Desired Skill & Expertise

    • Chartered accounting Qualification
    • Highly organized thereby able to prioritize important tasks and duties and ensure they are completed in a timely manner allowing data to be utilized when required.
    • Exceptional communication skills as the assistant manager requires to communicate with several sub-divisions to acquire accurate information regarding the operations.
    • Pose high analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details. The candidate should be able to identify inaccuracies in the data as well as continuously look for ways to improve operations in terms of expenses incurred
    • Display integrity and confidentiality as the candidate would be intrusted with highly confidence; information.
    • Have necessary computer skills to understand several accounting and financial software’s being utilized by the company.
    • Possess a great extent of business knowledge & industrial experience to allow advanced solutions and ideas to be processed and implemented.
