    Job Description

    We are recruiting a Community Manager (NEST Curator) for our second co working space that will open in Q4 2018. The Community Manger reports to the Hotel Manager and the Asset Management team. We are looking for someone who is bright, responsible and well-connected to the local community to help manage our co working space. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in Dubai, be passionate about entrepreneurship, enjoy meeting and networking with freelancers, entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses. He or she should understand the concept and values of co working, helping to create a vibrant culture focused on supporting members and helping to grow their businesses. Additionally, this person will handle day-to-day operations of the space, manage/create events, generate sales and develop initiatives to cultivate the community. S/he will essentially be running a small business, so we need someone who can wear many hats and do so with flexibility and positivity.

     Required Skills

    • Good general business knowledge and practical understanding of events, marketing and management
    • Experience in overseeing social and digital marketing strategy and event programming
    • Aptitude for identifying business needs, making introductions and facilitating relationships between members
    • Ability to multi-task and handle administrative work
    • Good communicator - written, in person and on the phone
    • Knowledge of entrepreneurship and start-ups, with an interest in ICT, digital and creative industries
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Aptitude to learn new software

     Community Management

    • Maintains a strong commitment to the purpose and values of the co working community
    • Ensuring our co working community has a friendly, collaborative atmosphere where businesses can thrive and work together
    • Maintains a commitment to excellence and customer service orientation
    • Welcomes potential new members when they drop in; provides tours and sells the business
    • Resolves member issues with professionalism and patience 
    • Interacts with the audience, replies to the comments, messages and identifies potential customers through our social media pages
    • Managing community initiatives designed to develop member relationships



     Oversees and executes daily operations including:


    • Managing queries through social media, client service email, phone calls
    • Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory (paper, coffee, toner, etc.)
    • Maintaining memberships in the member’s database
    • Oversees scheduling of conference rooms and training events
    • Signing up new members, upgrading packages, cancelling membership
    • Maintain the space and meeting rooms to our quality standards
    • Collects detailed information about the needs of each new member
    • Monitors and reports financial and operational KPIs to the Asset Management team on a regular basis


    • Creates and implements a detailed events strategy and communication plan
    • Develops partnerships and sponsorships with local and international organisations
    • Organizes and plans meetups, events and networking activities that enhance the community experience
      • Events are to be fully-costed and show measurable performance targets for each area of expenditure
    • Tracks the effectiveness of all items of marketing/events communication against agreed performance measures, and produces a post evaluation campaign
    • Responds to RFPs for private events and drafts proposals



    • Assists in the development and management of marketing related items including but not limited to: social media, events, marketing promotions and writing content.
    • Collaborates with the hotel’s marketing team in the curation and creation of email campaigns, newsletters and social media content
    • Assists in devising and executing local marketing strategies to generate sales (defining segmentation strategies, designing communications tactics for different segments, establishing new engagement opportunities)
    • Develops and maintains strong relationships with other co working spaces in Dubai
    • Develops partnerships with local businesses and organisations which will add value to our community members
